If you read my previous blog post , then you know that character dining is something that even this frugal girl is willing to splurge on at Disney World! I say "splurge" because admittedly character dining is an investment. That's why I think it's helpful to know as much as you can about the various character meals that are offered so that you can choose the ones that will be the best fit for your family. So, in order to help with that, I'm going to be sharing my honest reviews of the most recent character meals that I've done at Disney World. If this topic is something that you're interested in, check back over the next couple weeks for updates! The first character meal I'll be reviewing in this series is one that, as a Disney princess enthusiast, I was very excited about! I loved Cinderella when I was a little girl, so attending Cinderella's Happily Ever After Dinner at 1900 Park Fare was definitely a Disney dream come true for me. 1900...
I have never been much of a runner. My philosophy has always been "I won't run unless someone's chasing me." However, my husband started running about a year and a half ago. Knowing that he needed an external motivator in order to keep at it, he signed up for a local 5K, which he successfully completed. I think it's safe to say that he was bitten by the "race bug" after his first 5K as he regularly signs up for races now. He would love it if I would run with him, yet he knows me well enough to know that he's probably not going to get me to do it unless he dangles the word "Disney" in front of my nose! Enter: runDisney! runDisney is the official running organization affiliated with Disney that sponsors several running events throughout the year. From virtual events to events that take you right through the heart of Disney parks, there is something for everyone whether you're a beginner or a seasoned runner. In this blog post, I...
If you love Epcot as much as I do, then you probably already know that Epcot is home to several festivals throughout the year. My family’s personal favorite is the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival, which takes place every spring. During this festival, Epcot comes alive with the colors of spring and elaborate themed topiaries can be found throughout the park. There are also special festival booths and kiosks that offer festival merchandise and seasonal food and drink offerings. On our most recent trip to Disney World, my family and I took a day to experience the festival and I can’t wait to share some of our favorites! One of our favorite things to do at the Flower and Garden Festival is to take photographs of all the beautiful flowers. If you have an interest in photography, or if you simply want to capture and preserve family memories, you’ll find great subject matter during the festival. My husband is an avid photographer and he captured all the beaut...
